On 6th September 2009, a group of Aspect employees and friends undertook to run 10km or cycle 20km around Richmond Park in London. The aim was to raise £20,000 to support the literacy charity Volunteer Reading Help (VRH). VRH is a national charity that helps children aged 6-11 who struggle with their reading to develop a love of reading and learning. An enormous effort enabled Aspect staff to raise £31,245 which was matched by Aspect. A cheque for £62,491 was presented to Darranda Rowswell, Corporate Partnerships Manager from VRH. With Gift Aid contributions where appropriate, the event enabled Aspect to support VRH to the tune of just under £69,000. We are grateful to everyone who made a contribution – either physical or financial.
