Sands
On the 6th September Aspect staff embarked on a 'Climbathon' to raise money for UK charity, Sands. Sands supports anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth.  They offer emotional support and information for parents, grandparents, siblings, children, families and friends, as well as health professionals and others. Further details on Sands can be found on their website by clicking here.

The Challenge
By travelling 830km on treadmills set at a challenging and constant 15% incline in our London office, Aspect employees attempted to cover the combined height of the World's 100 highest mountains over two days. To add a competitive edge to the event employees were split in to two teams, Don't Everest and Ben Novice. Ben Novice edged the competition by a tiny 2km margin. The challenges total distance was completed by the teams with just under 20 minutes remaining following a monumental effort from everybody involved.

Fundraising
The aim was to raise a massive £20,000 with Aspect matching all money raised. The target has been surpassed and the final donation will be well over £40,000.
